- Original school colors were royal blue, white and black.
- Current flagpole was dedicated in 1951 to Marguerite Knight, long-time teacher.
- Smallest class was three in 1921.
- Largest class was 51 in 1979,
- Last graduating class was 1992.
- School name and emblem was the Bluejay, adopted in 1940.
- First Superintendent was H. L. Bleeker (1913-1917)
- Final Superintendent was Sig K. Rimestad (1977-1992)
