Annual Alumni Awards
At the Annual All School Reunion in June of 2009, the Taylors Falls School Foundation unveiled a new program honoring alumni and those who have given back to their community. The following awards are part of this annual program: Outstanding Graduate, Outstanding Staff/Faculty, Outstanding Citizen, and Extra Curricular (both 1915-1952 and 1953-1992). If you would like to nominate someone for one of these awards, please submit an Official Nomination Form by mail, fax , or e-mail.
Outstanding Graduate Award – The purpose of this award is to recognize past graduates or those who contributed to the Taylors Falls High School, for his or her outstanding contribution, leadership and life time achievements. This award is to honor a person who has excelled in their life endeavors as a result of his or her education at Taylors Falls High School.
Outstanding Staff/Faculty Award – The purpose of this award is to recognize those individuals who are remembered for their dedication to students who attended or contributed to the Taylors Falls School District. They may include educators, cooks, janitorial, clerical, bus drivers or school board members, etc.
Outstanding Citizen Award – The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding graduate or those who contributed to Taylors Falls School District for their contributions, leadership and vision and for their volunteer services to the greater community. This award will be given to the graduate who has done many things for the greater community outside of their profession.
Extra Curricular 1915-1952 and 1953-1992 – The purpose of this award is to recognize graduates or those who contributed to the Taylors Falls School District for his or her excellence in extra curricular activities in his or her high school and/or post secondary school years. Two awards will be given in this category, one for Kingsbury extra curricular excellence (1915-1952) and one for new school extra curricular excellence (1952-1992). Extra curricular activities may include athletics, music, theatre, arts, clubs or technology, etc.
