1914 Wednesday, February 4: Classes were first held in the new T.F.H.S. that had been built on the south side of the Kingsbury (elementary) School. The new school colors became royal blue, white and black.

1915 Thursday, June 3: The first T.F.H.S. Graduation exercises were conducted at the Knights of Pythias Opera House (then located on Bench Street across from the Taylors Falls Library). The Class of 1915 had five graduating members. The class colors were maroon and cream. The class motto was “We have climbed the hills—the mountains are before us.”

1918 Wednesday, March 6: The Kingsbury (elementary) School was severely damaged by fire. It was immediately rebuilt but redesigned to resemble the high school wing.

The first T.F.H.S. yearbook was also published in 1918. The second and third T.F.H.S. yearbooks were published in 1939 and 1940. Annual publications of the yearbook did not start until 1952. The T.F.H.S. yearbooks have had several names, including: The Dalles, The Dedicator, The Falls, Tay Fa Hi and the Bluejarian. T.F.H.S. newspapers have also been published at various times, including such titles as: Hilltop Times, Hilltop Herald, Hilltop Hi-Lites and the Bluejarian.

1926 Wednesday, January 20: The T.F.H.S. was severely damaged by fire. Repairs to the high school building were completed in February of 1927. Also in 1927, a long-awaited gymnasium was completed on the east side of the high school building. Previously, large school events had to be held in other community buildings.
